Dignity first. Data second.

Privacy and consent

Early pilot · 31 July 2026

Rondo is being built to help families organise practical support. It is not a tool for monitoring an older person. We are planning the first pilot as an app-based experience for older adults who regularly use a smartphone. This notice explains the principles we follow and the key information about data processing. We will update it before any material change to how the service operates.

Data controller

The controller of personal data connected with the waitlist, pilot and operation of Rondo is Infinity Tech Group sp. z o.o., ul. Rynek Solny 1 lok. 6, 22-400 Zamość, Polska, KRS 0001236454, NIP 9223090619, REGON 544554591. Rondo is a product of this company, trading as Infinity Tech.

What the family can see

People in the trusted circle receive only specific requests that the older person has agreed to share, plus confirmation of whether they replied to a scheduled message. They do not receive the whole conversation with Basia. Each participant has their own access.

Messages in the first pilot

Basia is an automated AI assistant, not a human. The older person’s messages will be processed to hold the conversation and prepare a suggested request. Before anything reaches the family, Basia will show the exact wording and ask the older person for permission.

Before the pilot begins, participants will receive a plain-language explanation of where messages are stored, how long we keep them, who can access them and how to request deletion.

What the first app-based pilot will not collect

Telephone calls and optional data at later stages

Telephone calls with Basia are planned as a later way to use Rondo for people who do not regularly use a smartphone. We are also considering auxiliary features such as a last location after missed contact or selected activity summaries. None of these features will be active in the first app-based pilot.

Before any such feature is introduced, the older person will receive a separate plain-language explanation for every data category and decide directly. A family member cannot consent on their behalf, and each permission will be separately withdrawable.

Joining the pilot

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the role you selected and confirmation of your consent. We use this information only to share Rondo updates, recruit families for the pilot and invite people to trials. Your consent is the legal basis for this processing.

Any extra answers about your needs, region or how the older person uses a smartphone are optional. The form does not ask for diagnoses, medical records, a home address or other sensitive information about someone you support.

Ideas and voting

People on the waitlist can vote on features and submit their own suggestions. We review every suggestion before it becomes public. The public board shows an approved idea and its vote count—never the author’s email address.

Storage and service providers

Form data is stored in Cloudflare D1. The public website is hosted by Vercel, while Cloudflare provides the database and form processing. We keep waitlist data for the pilot recruitment period, for no longer than 12 months, unless you withdraw consent or ask us to delete it sooner.

The older person’s consent

Before first use, the older person receives a plain-language explanation of the app, learns that Basia is an AI system and confirms directly that they want to take part. Rondo asks for consent before sharing any new information with the family. Consent can be withdrawn.

Security and access

Pilot invitations will be single-use and access will be tied to a specific person. Participants will see only information from the circle they were invited to. The public demo uses fictional data and does not save changes between visits.

Contact

To withdraw consent, access or correct your data, or ask for its deletion, reply to any message from Rondo or email contact@infinityteam.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish Personal Data Protection Office or your competent supervisory authority.
